There is no one-size-fits-all super diet like this. Certainly that diet looks pretty low-cal so all should lose weight, but to think everybody will lose exactly 10 pounds in 3 days is crazy.

While one may lose 10 pounds in 3 days, this diet would be very difficult to follow for any length of time. Yesterday I had a bag of pretzels and a diet coke for lunch since I had a conference call during the time I usually took lunch. I was hungry by 3pm.

I'm talking about having the shakes because my blood sugar was so low. If I followed this diet I would experience the same thing I'm afraid. I would have to eat something else or get sick.

What I can and will tell you, this diet does work. I've dropped 37 pounds using it. Not down to the level I want to be, but getting there a little at a time. Yes, at times one is hungry but once I get started on a project, that feeling passes.

So I can blame tonight's losses on the tuna. :lolBIG:. You're point about the mercury levels is well taken but the doc gave me this diet to follow. Best thing is, it's working (have dropped 37 pounds using it). The weight when on a little at a time and will go off that way as well. Weekly check-ins with the doc. It's working for me and I'm glad.
